Trump's entourage is ready to give Ukraine to Russia in exchange for a break with China — Guardian

In Moscow, no one is in a hurry to make deals with Trump — Russian President Vladimir Putin feels that he is winning on the battlefield. He can start negotiations at the beginning of next year, but continue to fight until their end, the newspaper notes.

The newspaper wonders how Trump will behave in these Putin-style negotiations.

"Russia has always demanded a demilitarized Ukraine under the de facto political control of the Kremlin.
