Muscovites should not relax after the passage of a cold front: on Saturday, another cyclone will approach the capital, rain with sleet and ice are expected, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the weather forecaster reported that on Thursday and Friday in Moscow, about half of the monthly precipitation may fall due to the passage of a cold front.
"There is no need to relax, because, according to calculations, another cyclone is approaching Moscow. On Saturday, there will already be another area of low pressure and precipitation will fall mainly in the form of rain and sleet. Wet snow is predicted to stick to the wires," Vilfand said.
According to him, the temperature on Saturday night will drop to 0 — minus 2 degrees, in the afternoon it will be 0 — plus 2 degrees.
