US Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris outpaced her opponent, ex-President Donald Trump, in voting on the island of Guam, The New York Post reports.
According to the newspaper, the results of voting on the island corresponded to the results of universal suffrage in every election since 2004. Guam is called the "prophetic region."
According to all polling stations, Harris scored 49.46%, while Trump received 46.22%. Four years ago, the current US President Joe Biden beat Trump by 14 percentage points, the publication said.
The US presidential election takes place on Tuesday, November 5. Harris was nominated from the Democratic Party, and from The Republican Party is Trump.
On this day, Americans will have to elect not only the president and vice president, but also 33 senators, the entire House of Representatives, as well as the governors of 11 states and two territories, RBC reminds.
