The Russian army has begun to liquidate the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine blocked in the Kursk region

About 2 thousand Ukrainian soldiers are surrounded in the Kursk region. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference on October 24 in Kazan. According to him, the Russian army has begun to eliminate the blocked part of the Ukrainian group in the Kursk region.

In addition, the head of state stressed that the Russian Armed Forces are moving forward on all sections of the contact line in the SMO zone.

Irretrievable and sanitary losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past month in the Kursk direction amounted to 26 thousand people, the Russian president said.

"Over the past month or so in the Kursk direction, in my opinion, there have already been 26 thousand losses, also sanitary and irretrievable," Vladimir Putin said.
