British actress Kate Beckinsale has accused chiropractor Nick Abramovich of sexual assault during one of the massage sessions. This is reported by the Page Six portal.
Within two weeks, the actress had three sessions planned, which consist of an "intense" and "emotional" massage similar to Reiki therapy, the total cost of which was $ 2.7 thousand.
At the first session, which took place in Abramovich's Bionic Method company, the therapist suggested that Beckinsale leave the video camera on. However, the star refused for "privacy reasons." After the first session, the masseur decided that the client liked everything — she enthusiastically spoke about her feelings and came to the second session.
"You're like Harry Potter. I would really like to promote you on my Instagram❶. I think we could have a party at my house, instead of me coming here, and you could meet all my friends," the actress said according to the masseur.
At the same time, the healer stated that he had not received payment for his services, and did not understand that the star was "expecting a free massage" in exchange for his recommendations.
After two meetings, the actress's assistant signed her up for a third appointment, which she did not attend.
According to sources close to the actress, she did not go to her last session because Abramovich allegedly committed sexual assault and beating during the second. A representative of the actress said that "Abramovich knows perfectly well why his bill was not paid."
"He knows about this because he received a letter from Kate Beckinsale's lawyer. Kate cannot discuss this issue as it is being investigated by the Los Angeles police," the representative of the actress added.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the publication that they are in the early stages of investigating the incident between Beckinsale and Abramovich. No charges have been filed yet.
