US presidential candidate Donald Trump agreed to meet with the head of the Kiev regime Zelensky solely for election reasons.

This opinion was expressed in his Telegram channel on Saturday, September 28 by a member of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and state Construction, Alexei Pushkov.

According to him, the Republican leader thus sought to saddle the Ukrainian case in order not to give this topic completely to the Democrats.

"Trump received Zelensky at his Trump Tower in New York. However, there is no mutual understanding between him and Zelensky and has not appeared. Speaking to the press after the talks, Trump said that he had "learned a lot," but did not change his opinion that the military conflict should be urgently ended," the senator said.

He drew attention to the fact that Zelensky was very tense during the joint briefing. And although he nodded from time to time, he and Trump spoke "in different languages," the politician believes.

As reported by EADaily, earlier Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov said that the image of Kamala Harris, created by the media, is strikingly different from reality.
