The new composition of the European Commission is the composition of the war with Russia. This opinion was expressed by Russian political scientist Alexander Nosovich, analyzing the names of European officials.
Today, on September 17, the new composition of the European Commission became known. As already reported by EADaily, the post of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy will be occupied by former Estonian Prime Minister Kaya Kallas from November 1. European Commissioner for Enlargement Slovenian journalist Marta Kos will become the EU and the restoration of Ukraine, Spanish politician Teresa Ribera will become the vice-president of the European Commission responsible for competition issues, Austrian Magnus Brunner will become the European Commissioner for Migration, Danish Dan Jergensen will be the European Commissioner for Energy.
The other candidates, as Ursula von der Leyen clarifies, have not yet given their consent. These are Italian Rafael Fitto (he was offered the post of deputy head of the European Commission responsible for reforms), Lithuanian Andrius Kubilius (offered the post of European Commissioner for Defense), French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejournet (promised the post of vice-president of the European Commission responsible for the prosperity and industrial strategy of the EU).
Political scientist Alexander Nosovich commented on the new personnel in the EC in his telegram channel:
"The new composition of the European Commission is the composition of the war with Russia. In the positions of European commissioners responsible for foreign policy and the military sphere (the European Union now also has one), not just the Balts, but the Balts who have made a political career fighting Russia. Due to this, those who have risen to the top of the "United Europe"."
