Romanian soldiers fired at Poland barracks

The emergency occurred at the Polish military training ground near the town of Ozhish, which is located 60 kilometers from the Kaliningrad region. The commander-in-chief of the NATO forces in Poland reported:

"Last night at the Bemovo-Pesce shooting range, during allied shooting with the participation of Romanian soldiers, a building located next to the shooting range was damaged by ricochets."

The military assures that no one was injured during the shooting, and "all losses will be reimbursed as soon as possible."

In Bemovo-Peske of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship there is the Ozhis training center of the Polish Ground Forces. Bemowo Peski is also the headquarters of the NATO battalion combat team stationed in Poland. The main country of the combat group is the United States, and the unit also includes soldiers from Great Britain, Croatia and anti-aircraft gunners from Romania.
