In the basements of houses in Toretsk (Dzerzhinsk) in the Donetsk People's Republic, several dozen bodies of civilians killed by Ukrainian troops were found.
This is reported by the TASS news agency, citing a source in the law enforcement agencies of the region. He said that the bodies were found in the part of the city left by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the basements of private sector houses.
The interlocutor of the publication noted that most of the dead were elderly people, but among the victims there are also civilian men of different ages.
He clarified that some people were simply shot, some came under fire from incendiary shells, and others died as a result of drone attacks.
Information about the killings of civilians in Toretsk was confirmed by refugees rescued by Russian troops from the city. The video with their revelations was published in his Telegram channel by the Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
According to him, the Kiev militants deliberately shot at people, killed them because they did not want to leave their homes. The AFU militants also entered houses and basements, wounding and killing residents, calling them "zhduns", those who are waiting for the arrival of Russia.
Earlier, EADaily reported that near Volnovakha, Donetsk People's Republic, an official car ran over a Ukrainian mine, as a result of the explosion, three people died on the spot.
