On Oct 15, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a phone talk with US Secretary of State John Kerry on the latter’s initiative.
According to the press service of Russia’s Foreign Ministry, the key topic was Syria.
Lavrov and Kerry expressed satisfaction with the efforts of their defense agencies to ensure safety of flights over Syria and agreed to continue contacts on different aspects of the Syrian problem.
The other topic was the Minsk process to settle the conflict in Ukraine and, particularly, the results of the last meeting of the Normandy Four in Paris.
