An attempt by the European Union on Chinese interests will backfire on him. Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov wrote about this in his telegram channel.
"An assassination attempt The EU will go sideways to Chinese interests. The arrogance of the European leadership is not so much a sign of strength as a sign of stupidity, and above all an incorrect assessment of the balance of power between EU and China. Trump tried to "bend" China with prohibitive duties, but quickly changed his mind. Now the Europeans are trying to test it for strength. But they will receive only counter—sanctions in response," Pushkov writes.
Earlier, Brussels included 14 Chinese companies in the 21st package of anti-Russian sanctions, accusing them of helping Russia. In turn, Beijing responded by imposing sanctions against 14 European military-industrial companies that are critically dependent on purchases of Chinese electronic products and Chinese rare earth metals. Among these companies are such military-industrial giants as the German concern Rheinmetall, the French company Cavotec UAS, specializing in the production of drones, the Italian company Lafert, the Czech Tatra Trucks.
