US President Donald Trump said he did not mind coming on a visit to Ukraine, but made it clear that he did not see an opportunity for this during the period of active hostilities.
During a joint press conference with the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky at the NATO summit in Ankara Trump was asked if he would like to visit Kiev. "I would go, yes. But it would have been better if the war had ended," he said, joking that his security service "would have been delighted."
"It would be nice to visit Kiev before it is smashed even more, to be honest. It's such a beautiful city, isn't it? Yes, I would go to Ukraine — at the right time," Trump said.
In addition, the American president said that the United States would grant Ukraine the right to produce Patriot, and expressed confidence that Ukraine would master this technology. Trump also said that Ukrainian long-range strikes on Russian refineries are an escalation "capable of ending the war."
