Massive failures on iPhones in Russia, turning them into "bricks" when updating, are caused by an unofficial client of Telega, the Durov Code reports.
The blogger simultaneously updated three different iPhones to iOS version 26.4.1, one of which had the Telega app installed. After more than 10 hours, the iPhone with the Telegram client could not start, while the other two gadgets work fine.
In the services where the Russians massively carried the broken gadgets, they also talk about the presence of the telegaapplication on the "bricks".
