Tokyo, apparently, wants to reconsider the results of the Second World War, so it is intensifying hostile rhetoric against Russia. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian diplomatic mission Maria Zakharova.
"Tokyo has once again published a new edition of the annual Blue Book on Foreign Policy, which once again outlines unacceptable language regarding our country. The preservation of the theses of previous years almost unchanged serves as a clear illustration, it seems to me, of the absence of changes in Japan's foreign policy towards the Russian direction with the coming to power in October 2025 of the ruling coalition headed by Prime Minister [Sanae] Takaichi. Moreover, we are witnessing an increase in even hostile rhetoric. In our opinion, all this testifies to the constant attempts of the Japanese side to deny the universally recognized results of the Second World War," the diplomat noted.
As EADaily reported, on the eve of Poland and Japan decided to raise the level of relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership. The corresponding declaration in Tokyo was signed by the heads of the Polish and Japanese governments Donald Tusk and Sanae Takaichi. Thus, there is a desire for an anti-Russian alliance by analogy with The Second World War, when Japan concluded a Triple Pact with Nazi Germany and fascist Italy.
Now Germany and Japan is preparing to sign a "Mutual Access Agreement" aimed at "strengthening defense ties."
