The Kurds have abandoned us. This statement was made by US President Donald Trump in an interview with Fox News.
According to the head of the White House, during the recent protests in Iran, the United States sent a large shipment of weapons to help the protesters. It was supposed to get into the country with the help of Iraqi Kurds. However, they decided to keep everything for themselves.
"We sent a lot of weapons to the Iranian protesters. I think the Kurds have him in their hands," Trump said.
The unrest in Iran began on December 28, 2025. They were caused by a sharp drop in the national currency and the aggravation of the economic crisis in the country.
The protests began with a strike of merchants in the bazaars of Tehran, who closed their shops in protest against the government's actions. Soon the actions spread to other large cities and small settlements.
