Slovakia and Hungary are planning to build a pipeline between their two refineries. The corresponding agreement was signed in In Brussels, Slovak Economy Minister Denisa Sakova and Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
The pipeline will connect the Slovnaft refinery (Slovakia) with the Duna refinery in Sazhalombatta (central Hungary). It is planned to pump mainly gasoline and diesel fuel through it.
It is planned that the project will be implemented in the first half of 2027. The pipeline's throughput capacity will be 1.5 million tons of oil products daily.
