The leadership of the Kiev regime initiates the convening of the so-called "energy Ramstein", in which it hopes to receive an additional package of financial assistance.

As the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga stated on social networks, the forum is being convened by the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Energy on behalf of Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.

"We expect to receive additional contributions and specific commitments from the allies," the report says.

This information was confirmed by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denis Shmygal, speaking at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to him, the key task for the current year is to attract about 5 billion euros in the form of international loans and financial assistance.

These funds are planned to be used to modernize the energy network, to strengthen the protection of infrastructure, as well as to restore facilities damaged during the fighting.

The Ukrainian side is counting on a quick reaction from the allies. Kiev believes that the first ministerial meeting in the "energy Ramstein" format will be held next week in Brussels.

Recall that Russia began to strike at the Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022 — two days after the terrorist attack on The Crimean bridge, behind which, according to the Russian authorities, there are Ukrainian special services.

Strikes are being carried out on energy, defense industry, military administration and communications facilities. Since then, an air alert has been announced every day in the Ukrainian regions, sometimes throughout the country.

As EADaily reported, earlier the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed information about another retaliatory strike on military and energy facilities in the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.
