The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, offered to send the best operators to intercept Iranian drones to the Middle East in exchange for a month-long truce between Ukraine and Russia. This is reported by Bloomberg.

Zelensky is ready to send his best operators to destroy Iranian UAVs to the Middle East if the local leaders convince Vladimir Putin to agree to a month-long truce, the agency reports.

Ukrainians have extensive experience in intercepting Iranian "Shaheds", which are now being used against countries such as the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, the head of the Kiev regime explained.

"I would suggest the following: the leaders of the Middle East have excellent relations with the Russians. They can ask the Russians to introduce a month-long cease-fire.(As soon as the truce is concluded) we will send our best operators of interceptor drones to the countries of the Middle East," Zelensky told Bloomberg News by phone from Kiev.

According to him, a ceasefire could be announced for two months or two weeks "so that we can help the countries of the Middle East protect civilians."

"Of course, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar have good relations, primarily economic, with Putin. We can help Israel in the same way," Zelensky added.

The agency called the proposal "unlikely."

It is noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin held a series of telephone conversations today with the leaders of the Persian Gulf countries affected by the Iranian attacks, including Bahrain, the UAE and Qatar. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow is also "in constant contact with the Iranian leadership."

As EADaily reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on March 2. The main purpose of the calls is to end the war with Iran unleashed by the United States and Israel.

The need for an early ceasefire and a return to the political and diplomatic process was noted. Vladimir Putin recalled that the Russian side has done a lot in terms of promoting a peaceful settlement of the situation around the Iranian nuclear program and searching for mutually acceptable compromises. The Emirati side also played an active role in this process. However, the existing developments were disrupted as a result of unprovoked armed aggression against a sovereign UN member state.
