The Ukrainian side refuses to accept the bodies of the dead soldiers because it is difficult for it to admit losses of this magnitude, said the head of the Russian delegation at the talks with Ukraine. According to him, the money for compensation to the families of the victims has already been spent.
"It's hard for them to admit such big losses," Medinsky said on RT.
He noted that the money that should be paid to the families of the victims as compensation has already been spent "on completely different things."
According to Medinsky, Kiev has nothing to offer under the agreement on the exchange of bodies according to the formula "6,000 to 6,000".
"We offered: load directly into our wagons, into our refrigerated trucks, if you have the bodies of our dead, so that we bury them. Apparently, they have nothing to load back," Medinsky said.
