In St. Petersburg, a janitor rescued a boy who fell from the ledge of the 7th floor. This is reported by the Fontanka newspaper.
The incident occurred this afternoon on Petrozavodskaya street. The boy was flying upside down, but thanks to an employee of the service company, he remained alive.
"It has already been established that a primary school-age boy with an autism spectrum disorder was alone in his room, his mother gave him a tablet to play with. At some point, for unknown reasons, he opened the windows and sat down opposite. His neighbors saw him, raised a scream, noticed the boy and the janitor," the newspaper writes.
It is noted that eyewitnesses called rescuers and shouted to the boy to close the window and move away, but he wrapped his arms around the partition and climbed over the frame.
"I cried and screamed, but no one took the child from the window," said the janitor.
According to him, he was standing right under the window to try to do something if the child breaks down.
When this happened and the boy was flying head down, the man managed to catch him and squeeze him tightly, after which both fell to the asphalt. Then the savior together took the child to the front door. Later, an ambulance arrived. According to preliminary data, the boy has a leg fracture, the man has ribs.
According to Fontanka, the boy's savior is a 37—year-old native of Uzbekistan.
