Berlin has encouraged a nuclear project involving a subsidiary of Rosatom. It is reported by the AFP news agency with reference to Politico.

It is noted that the company Advanced Nuclear Fuels GmbH, the "daughter" of the French state concern Framatome, is going to set up production of Russian-designed fuel cells at its plant in Lingen in Lower Saxony. It is planned to produce new fuel assemblies (fuel assemblies) for nuclear power plants under the license of TVEL, which is a subsidiary of Rosatom. The German government will give the green light to the project, albeit with some restrictions, after the examination is completed, AFP reports.
