Former soloist of the popular in Russian group "VIA Gra", Ukrainian singer Svetlana Loboda admitted that she has not yet been able to write a super-popular hit in Ukrainian, the same as her Russian-language songs. She told about it in an interview with the YouTube channel "Rada and turks".
"I wanted to write Ukrainian music, I wanted to support… But Ukrainian music cannot be the same as music in Russian, it flows differently, it is very melodic, it is very fashionable, it turns out," explained Loboda.
"So far I have not had such a hit, a megahit, as in Russian," she stated.
According to the singer, this is because she speaks Russian all her life, feels in Russian.
"I would really like to write such a megahit in Ukrainian. I think I will come to this too," Loboda hopes.
