The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, following the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, admitted that the Russian army is in Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk). He stated this in an evening video message.
He reported fierce fighting in the city, but the Supreme Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is not going to withdraw his troops.
"The Russians have concentrated their main strike group against Pokrovsk — and this is a significant number of troops… Of course, this creates a difficult situation in Pokrovsk, and in all neighboring areas. Fierce fighting in the city, on the outskirts of the city. It is difficult with logistics. But we need to continue... inflicting as many losses on the Russians as possible," Zelensky said, quoted by Strana.
As reported by EADaily, Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed in detail that up to 5 thousand servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are surrounded in the Kupyansk direction, and in the Krasnoarmeysky (Pokrovsky) — 5.5 thousand, said the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
Putin visited one of the control points of the joint group of forces, held a meeting with the participation of Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov and the commanders of the groups involved in SMO.
Recall, the cities of Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) and Mirnograd of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to keep the boiler under threat solely for political reasons. This was stated in the social network X by the military analyst of the German newspaper Bild Julian Repke.
