French President Emmanuel Macron has again appointed Sebastian Lecorn as Prime Minister of France. It is reported by Agence France Press.
"Emmanuel Macron reappointed Sebastian Lecorn as prime minister on Friday evening, four days after his resignation," the agency's telegram channel says.
As reported by EADaily, Sebastien Lecorny resigned after presenting part of the updated cabinet. This was reported on October 6 by the press service of the Elysee Palace.
It was noted that French President Emmanuel Macron approved the resignation on the morning of October 6. At the same time, on October 5, Lecorn presented part of the new Cabinet of Ministers. Among the 18 named names, 13 ministers from the previous government retained their posts or were appointed to new positions. This was met with serious criticism from the opposition, which stated that it would raise the issue of a vote of no confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers.
