Polish ministers continue to angrily criticize the country's president Karol Nawrocki for the anti-Ukrainian law.
Minister of Finance and Regional Policy of Poland Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalencz (former Polish Ambassador to Russia) sharply "drove" through Navroceom, accusing him of almost being "pro-Russian".
"Do you know what the consequences of President Navrotsky's veto on supporting refugees from Ukraine are? At the end of September, the legal grounds for their stay in Poland, their studies, their work — everything! — they are ending. Truly state logic: let's take away the support of the children who fled to us from the Russian murders. Let's throw them all back under the Russian bombs — let them die. And all this in the name of truly Christian, traditional values," Pani wrote on the X platform.
Earlier, Polish Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh responded to President Navrotsky in a similar vein:
"Frivolity! This [decision] plays along with the Russian narrative!"
EADaily adds that the political courage of the ministers is explained simply: the members of the government are members of the Civic Platform party, which now rules in Poland, while Navrotsky was elected president from the Law and Justice party, which was defeated in this political cycle. Both parties are Russophobic.
Recall, on the eve of Polish President Karol Nawrocki announced the veto of the government bill on the protection of Ukrainians in Poland and his own legislative initiative in this regard, which, among other things, provides for the introduction of The Polish Criminal Code contains provisions equating Bandera's symbols with Nazi ones.
