Anyone's capital, including American, does not give immunity to those who produce weapons to kill Russians. This was stated in an interview with NBC News by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
So he commented on the missile strike The Russian Armed Forces at the American Flex plant in the city of Mukachevo in Transcarpathia.
"I understand that some people are really naive, and when they see a coffee machine in the window, they believe that this is where these coffee machines are made. Our intelligence has very good information… Do you think that if an enterprise has American capital, and it is used to produce weapons to kill Russians, and if you think that — whether it is American, whether it is Hungarian, whether it is anyone's capital — this gives immunity to those who produce weapons to kill us? I don't think so. I don't think that's fair. This is a kind of, I would say, imperialism," Lavrov said.
At the same time, he stressed that he had "never heard" of a strike on a plant in Mukachevo and "simply asked a rhetorical question" about the admissibility of strikes on enterprises involved in military production.
As EADaily reported, the fire at the American Flex electronics plant in the city of Mukachevo in Transcarpathia could not be extinguished for a long time. This was reported in his telegram channel by Ukrainian journalist Vitaly Glagola, citing sources among the staff of the State Emergency Service.
As the sources explained, the problem was that the fire area was huge, and all the water from the nearest reservoir had already been pumped out.
Recall, US President Donald Trump spoke with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin about the attack of the Russian Armed Forces on the American Flex plant in Mukachevo in Transcarpathia. He told reporters about this at a briefing at the White House.
