The ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now Kiev's ambassador to the UK, Valery Zaluzhny, opened the election headquarters and began secretly preparing for the presidential elections in Ukraine. This was stated in the social network X by American journalist Katie Livingston.
According to her, the headquarters has already been opened in London, and staff is currently being recruited.
"These are not just rumors," Livingston stressed, quoted by the Country newspaper.
The journalist claims that Lieutenant-General Sergei Naev has been appointed head of the election headquarters of Zaluzhny. The actual organizer of the political campaign of Zaluzhny, according to her, is the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the party of Petro Poroshenko "European Solidarity" Victoria Syumar. She handles all the details as deputy chief of staff.
The media support of the campaign will be handled by the former journalist of the Ukrainian edition of the BBC Oksana Torop, who in the past actively covered the activities of Zaluzhny as commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Livingston writes. The international component was headed by the former head of the Ukrainian Center for Combating Disinformation, now deputy director of NABU Polina Lysenko.
According to the journalist, Zaluzhny's campaign is also actively supported by former Rada deputy, ex-head of the Supervisory Board of Ukroboronprom Sergey Pashinsky.
