The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, told US President Donald Trump during a telephone conversation today that sanctions against Russia should be strengthened if Russia delays the negotiation process. He writes about this in his telegram channel.
The conversation took place after the Friday meeting of Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska.
"In a conversation with President Trump, I said that sanctions should be strengthened if there is no trilateral meeting or if Russia avoids an honest end to the war. Sanctions are an effective tool. Security must be reliable and guaranteed for the long term, with the participation of both Europe and The United States," Zelensky writes.
He also said that all important issues concerning Ukraine should be discussed with its participation, "and no issue, including territorial, can be resolved without Ukraine."
According to Zelensky, he has already additionally agreed on a position with European leaders after a conversation with Trump.
