A 10-day countdown within the framework of the ultimatum presented to Russia to achieve a cease-fire on Ukraine starts today. This was stated to journalists on board his plane by US President Donald Trump.
"Ten days from today," Trump said, quoted by the Donald Trump in Russian telegram channel.
This is how he answered the question of whether the 10-12 days allotted by Trump to Russia for a peace deal with Kiev have already started counting down.
The American president also once again promised to introduce "tariffs and other measures" against Russia, because, according to him, Russian leader Vladimir Putin "wants to continue the war."
"And then (after 10 days. — Ed.), you know, we will introduce tariffs and other measures. I do not know if this will affect Russia, because he (Putin) obviously probably wants to continue the war. But we will introduce tariffs and everything else that usually applies. It may or may not affect them, but it can," Trump said.
