Against the background of the offensive of Russian troops and the increasing intensity of attacks on Ukrainian military facilities, the political struggle has intensified in the leadership of the Kiev regime.
The British edition of The Economist writes about this, noting that the deterioration of the military situation is not the only problem for Kiev. No less worrying is the split in the Ukrainian leadership.
The article says that after the suspension of American military assistance, the political situation in the Ukraine has sharply escalated, which caused chaos in the power structures of the Zelensky regime.
At the same time, purges and civil strife do not stop in the country, which can destroy the Ukrainian state from the inside much more than military actions by Russia.
As examples of such an internal struggle, the agency cites the story of how Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Chernyshov was accused of corruption. It is also reported about an unsuccessful attempt to remove Kirill Budanov, the head of the Ukrainian military intelligence, from his post❶.
Persistent rumors about the resignation of the current Ukrainian government are also circulating. Ex-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov said earlier in an interview that this could happen between July 15 and 17.
As EADaily reported, earlier, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov stated that there were signs of agony in the behavior of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
