Solar panels began to be installed on Russian combat drones. This was stated by Ukrainian military serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Flash via means of communication.
According to him, the panel cannot power the UAV in flight, but allows it to be in standby mode for a long time, waiting for a convenient moment to strike.
"The photo is not the first FPV drone of the enemy, which is seen with a solar panel. Of course, such a panel will not be able to provide power to the drone in flight, but the FPV-zhdun with such a panel will sit waiting in the wings for a very long time," writes Flash in his telegram channel.
