The Russian Embassy in Sweden was attacked by a drone — it dropped a container of paint at the entrance to the building. This is reported on the website of the diplomatic mission.
"On May 25, at about 03:40 in the morning, the Russian Embassy in Sweden was subjected to another attack using a drone," the embassy explained. — Flying over the territory of the diplomatic mission, the drone dropped a container of paint on the platform in front of the main entrance. A special cynicism to the incident is given by the fact that the drone operators used a glass container, which, when dropped from a height, can cause serious injury to people."
As the diplomatic mission recalled, such attacks have been taking place regularly for more than a year, and although the mission has repeatedly appealed to The Swedish Foreign Ministry and the police, "however, there are no results." This clearly demonstrates that Sweden ignores the country's obligations under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, which obliges to ensure the inviolability and security of foreign diplomatic missions.
"The responsibility for all possible consequences of such incidents will lie with the Swedish authorities," the Russian Embassy warned.
