Alexey Kortnev reacted to the news about his escape to the USA

The leader of the Accident group, Alexei Kortnev, commented on the news regularly appearing in various media outlets that he had left Russia and moved to the United States. The musician published the corresponding post on his page on the social network.

According to Kortnev, since the beginning of the special military operation, he has been in the United States only once, while the artist has no desire to "live there", as well as citizenship, long-term visa or real estate.

He also urged to check the activities of IP Kortnev AA and make sure that the musician lives and works actively in his homeland. In Russia, there is a "large family" of Kortnev with two minor children and a retired mother.

At the same time, Kortnev admitted that in recent years it has been necessary to tour abroad more often, but the income from these performances is not the main one for the family, and is also brought to Russia and are spent in the country.

"I live, work and regularly pay taxes at home," Kortnev summed up.

As reported by EADaily, in February 2022, Kortnev spoke out strongly against SMO and Russia's actions on Ukraine.

Later, the head of the Federal Anti-Corruption Project, Vitaly Borodin, called for Kortnev and his band's concerts across the country to be canceled "until he realizes which side he is on."
