A new forest fire broke out in Los Angeles County and covered more than 20 square kilometers, according to the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection of the state of California.

As noted, the authorities announced the evacuation of a number of nearby areas.
The forest fires that began in Los Angeles County on January 7 are recognized as the largest in the history of the state.
