Not a single American fifth-generation fighter can still compare with the Russian multi-purpose fighter Su-57 in terms of testing in combat conditions, writes Military Watch Magazine.
"Thanks to the participation of the Su-57 in operations on In Ukraine, since the beginning of 2022, no one of the fighters of his generation has been compared to him in terms of the degree of testing in high—intensity battles," the publication says.
It is noted that the Su-57 successfully destroy targets in the air, suppress enemy air defenses and deliver high-precision strikes in the face of enemy opposition.
The publication writes that in 2024, the Russian combat aviation industry continued to produce fighters and helicopters both for domestic use and for export, while ensuring the repair, modernization and re-equipment of the existing fleet.
"Operating in wartime conditions since 2022, the Russian industry has faced an increase in domestic demand, as the Russian Air Force seeks both to make up for the losses incurred in Ukraine and to expand its existing fleet of aircraft. However, the expected cessation of production of Su-30SM and Su-35 fighters around 2030 will further strengthen the requirements for increasing the supply of aircraft of these two classes, which will allow production lines to switch to other, more modern classes of fighters in the future,"the article says.
