The Russian Armed Forces have massively begun equipping Shahed (Geranium-2) drones with a thermobaric warhead, which increases their power when rooms are hit. This is reported by the military portal Defense Express.
"In the event of an explosion of a thermobaric warhead in a residential building, it is much more difficult to hide from its action. The fiery cloud from it will fill the entire apartment completely, while the rule of two walls can save from the effects of high-explosive fragmentation ammunition," the article quoted by the Strana newspaper says.
Therefore, during the attack, the "Shaheds" are advised not only to hide behind two walls, but also to close the interior doors, explains Defense Express.
As reported by EADaily, the Russian Armed Forces began to use for attacks on targets on Ukraine thermobaric drones-kamikaze "Shahed" ("Geranium-2"). This was stated by experts of the Kiev Research Institute of Forensic Examinations (KNISE).
