An explosion occurred at the Mondi Powerflute cardboard production plant in the Finnish city of Skopje, Yle reports.
According to the TV channel, the explosion occurred on the afternoon of November 4 at about 12.00 local time in the industrial zone of Sorsasalo. A pulp production tank was blown up.
"His (tank) lid fell on the roof of the plant. The ceiling and ceilings collapsed on the machines in the factory shop," said Antti Korhonen, fire chief on duty.
The general director of the factory, Juha Kukka, said that the work of the enterprise has been stopped at the moment, victims have been avoided, but the causes of the incident have not been established and an investigation is currently underway.
"I've been in the industry for a long time, but nothing like this has happened in my career. I cannot yet assess what caused the accident," he added.
