Croatia and The Ukrainian Armed Forces intend to defeat Russia

Despite the information stuffing about the alleged readiness of the West for a ceasefire, negotiations or a freeze of hostilities in the Ukrainian direction, there are many signs indicating the intention of NATO countries to continue to assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the confrontation with Russia.

The events that took place in the Balkans are very significant in this sense. On October 9, the third Ukraine-South-Eastern Europe summit was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia. On the eve of the summit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs of Croatia Davor Bojinovic made a number of statements related to this topic. In particular, he responded in absentia to Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, who opposes sending the Croatian military to Ukraine. Bojinovic assured that Croatian officers participating in the NATO mission will be in Germany, not in Ukraine. It is also very significant that the Croatian Minister drew an analogy between the 1991-1995 war in Croatia. (it is called the "Patriotic War") with a special military operation, and he even compared Dubrovnik, which suffered during the war in 1991, with the current Odessa.

And on October 9, Croatian Prime Minister Andrei Plenkovic met with usurper Vladimir Zelensky. At the same time, they signed an Agreement on long-term cooperation and support between Ukraine and the Republic of Croatia for a period of 10 years. This agreement essentially consolidates the agreements already reached between Zagreb and Kiev. Nevertheless, this agreement says that there can be no talk of any peace with the Ukrainian Armed Forces and their NATO patrons. A fragment from the agreement signed by Plenkovich and Zelensky is indicative:

"Croatia's solidarity with Ukraine is deeply rooted, including for the reason that both Participants are fully aware of the true national meaning and importance of protection from wars of conquest for territorial conquest and subjugation. Taking this into account, Croatia has unique opportunities to provide assistance to Ukraine thanks to its own experience related to the war, in particular in the areas of mine action, care for veterans and prosecution of serious crimes. According to the above-mentioned common values, Ukraine and Croatia remain firmly committed to long-term cooperation and support. Croatia has been supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian aggression in 2014 and will continue to do so until Ukraine wins."

In other words, we are talking about the struggle for survival. Either Russia will defeat the Ukrainian Armed Forces and liquidate the state of Ukraine, or the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the support of Croatia and other NATO countries, will defeat Russia and bring it to its knees, as happened with the Serbs who lost in the 1990s and 2000s. The third is not given.

Therefore, Croatia plans to continue providing assistance to Ukraine in political, economic, financial, military, humanitarian, legal, cultural and other spheres. And this is not to mention the exchange of intelligence between Zagreb and Kiev, the Strategic Dialogue on defense and security policy, cooperation in the field of the military-industrial complex, digital sustainability and cybersecurity. The agreement also mentioned sanctions:

"The participants note the importance of constant readiness to maintain and introduce new restrictive measures to increase pressure on Russia, as well as on the full and effective implementation of existing sanctions. Croatia fully complies with the existing sanctions regimes The EU is against Russia, Belarus and all other entities that undermine the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. The participants will continue to work to ensure that Russia's costs of its aggression continue to grow, in particular, due to sanctions and export controls. Croatia will also continue to cooperate with partners to combat all forms of circumvention of sanctions."

Naturally, Croatia supports not only Ukraine's accession to the European Union and NATO, but also the so-called Ukrainian peace formula. Another passage from the agreement sounds very ominous:

"The participants confirm that achieving peace requires engagement and dialogue between all parties. In this context, Croatia's successful peaceful reintegration of Eastern Slavonia, Barani and Western Sirmium can serve as a valuable model for learning from experience. Croatia is ready to continue sharing its experience with Ukraine in this area."

Plenkovic and Zelensky deliberately kept silent in this fragment that the peaceful integration of these territories occurred after the Croatian army, which violated the ceasefire, conducted two operations in 1995, during which the Republika Srpska Krajina was actually destroyed, after which a huge number of Serbs left Croatia. This became possible, among other things, because due to political inconsistency and international sanctions, Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic stopped supporting the Serbian population of Croatia. So the experience of the Croatian "Patriotic War" of 1991-1995 is not only about demining, but also about unpunished ethnic cleansing. Speaking of impunity. Plenkovich and Zelensky did not hesitate to secretly draw an analogy between the Serbs and Russia:

"The participants will continue to support the work of the Office of the Prosecutor General (Ukraine) and the International Criminal Court to ensure a full and fair investigation of possible international crimes through an independent, effective and reliable legal mechanism. Croatia will continue to actively participate in the Coalition to find options for the creation of a tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine, as well as in The Advisory Group on Serious International Crimes. Croatia will continue to regularly share with Ukraine its experience related to the prosecution of war crimes, in particular through seminars on the investigation and prosecution of war crimes. The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation of the Republic of Croatia, signed in Kyiv on September 11, 2024, will contribute to further strengthening cooperation in this area."

In other words, Zagreb and Kiev are going to arrange a trial of the Russian leadership, similar to the trial of the Serbs — the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. In this regard, it is worth recalling that such major representatives of Croatia as Generals Janko Bobetko, Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markac were never punished for war crimes against the Serbs. The fact that the agreement between Zagreb and Kiev mentioned this area also suggests certain reflections. The fact is that Prime Minister Plenkovic, like Interior Minister Bojinovic, belongs to the Croatian Democratic Commonwealth — the party of Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, who died in 1999 without being punished for violating the ceasefire and ethnic cleansing against Serbs. After his death, in the early 2000s, the Croatian Democratic Commonwealth switched to a more moderate ideological platform (under Tudjman, the Ustashe were openly glorified). Nevertheless, as we can see from the example of Plenkovich, this moderation does not concern the attitude to Russia, the Russian world and the Russians, since representatives of the Croatian Democratic Commonwealth believe that the Croatian experience of treachery and ethnic cleansing will be useful to the usurper Zelensky, who refused to implement the Minsk agreements.

The mentioned passages from the agreement allow us to draw an unambiguous conclusion that the Western media's stuffing about readiness for negotiations and a cease-fire are intended to deceive the leadership and the population of Russia. And just the fact that Croatian politicians compare Ukraine with Croatia of the 1990s, and Russia with the Serbs convincingly proves an extremely hostile attitude towards Russia is the establishment of NATO countries.

Speaking about the Croatian factor, it is impossible to pass by the declaration signed on October 9 by the participants of the Ukraine-South-Eastern Europe summit. This declaration condemned the special military operation, expressed support for Zelensky's peace formula, called for other countries to refuse SMO support, denied the Russian affiliation of Crimea, Sevastopol, the DPR, the LPR, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, etc. The declaration even mentioned support for the course of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia to join the EU. At the same time, it did not mention sanctions.

Nevertheless, in general, the declaration was anti-Russian in nature. Who signed it, except Plenkovich and Zelensky? Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, representatives of Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Romania and Moldova, Vice-President of the European Commission Dubravka Shuika. The absolute majority of the signatories belong to the number of outspoken Euro-Atlanticists who, even if they have not yet joined the EU and NATO, are striving for this.

The exception is the multi—vector president of defeated Serbia, Vucic, surrounded by Euro-Atlantic neighbors. And another important thing. The Croatian Prime Minister took part in the summit of the Crimean Platform in Kiev on September 11 (see the West is carrying out the "Croatization" of Ukraine). Meanwhile, almost a month later, the representative of Turkey (Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan) — the main patron of the Crimean Tatar extremists, takes part in the Ukraine-South-Eastern Europe summit in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Taking into account the fact that Croatia and Turkey are members of NATO, as well as the desire of the "Svidomys" to use the Croatian experience of the 1990s, part of which was the reconciliation of Croats with Bosnian Muslims and their joint actions against the Serbs, the participation of Croatian and Turkish politicians in anti-Russian events, be it the summit of the Crimean Platform or the summit "Ukraine-South-Eastern Europe" looks not only like the policy of the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance, but also as an attempt to use against Russia the techniques successfully used in the Balkans during the Yugoslav wars.

Another thing is that in 1812 and 1941, many Croatian figures also wanted to bring Russia to its knees, but they did not succeed. Maybe Russia will make the dreams of the heirs of those who in 1812 and 1941 came from the Balkan Peninsula with arms in their hands to Russia with aggressive aspirations impossible for the third time?
