305 tons of canned fern were exported from the regions of Siberia, which is valued in Asian countries as an elixir of longevity for its rejuvenating properties. This was reported in the telegram channel of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
"In total, Siberian customs officers processed 830 tons of canned products in 9 months of 2024 — these are jams, jams and jams, canned ferns, canned meat and fish, tomatoes and tomato paste, peas, corn and beans, mushrooms and other products," the agency reports.
It is noted that canned products from Siberia are in demand, so pickled fern is preferred in Asian countries, calling it the elixir of longevity for its rejuvenating properties.
"The three leaders among the Siberian regions in the export of canned products are the Altai Territory, Tomsk and Irkutsk region," the agency states.
