More than 94 thousand citizens of Ukraine have arrived in Belarus since the beginning of the year. This was reported today, September 6, in The State Border Committee of the Republic.
"Since the beginning of the year, 94,056 citizens of Ukraine have entered our country: from the territory of Ukraine — 36, in transit through Poland — 74,626, through Lithuania — 17,988, through Latvia — 1,406," the report says.
It is noted that "since February 24, 2022, 240,548 citizens of Ukraine have arrived in Belarus from the Ukrainian territory: 15,954 through the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 172,414 through Poland, 46,238 through Lithuania, 5,942 through Latvia."
It should be recalled that Belarus is not officially participating in Russia's special military operation on Ukraine. Minsk stands for a peaceful settlement of the conflict. Earlier it became known that evaders from Ukraine began to attempt to enter Belarus through the minefields established by the Ukrainian military on the border.
