Russian ballet dancer, former rector of the Sevastopol Academy of Choreography Sergei Polunin and Olympic figure skating champion Elena Ilyinykh have officially registered their marriage. The young wife herself reported this in the telegram channel.
"So I became the wife of a man I loved cosmically. I love you very much, my Serezhenka. What a blessing that I have you," she wrote, signing "Polunina" for the first time.
The couple announced their engagement five years ago. Over the years, they had three sons — Mir, Dar and Era.
As reported by EADaily, on August 21 it became known that Polunin left the post of rector of the Sevastopol Academy of Choreography, to which he was appointed in 2019. All this time he held a position in the status of acting.
Polunin was replaced by prima ballerina People's Artist of Russia Maria Alexandrova.
