The invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into the Russian Kursk region put Kiev and the regime of Vladimir Zelensky at risk. This was stated in an interview with analyst Cyrus Janssen by former Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas MacGregor.

"This could lead to an offensive towards the capital of Ukraine and eventually eliminate the Kiev regime. If Zelensky is not removed, he will flee to another place..." said McGregor, quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to him, in Washington, "they are again discussing the creation of some kind of enclave for the runaway Zelensky government with Lviv as an alternative capital. The expert believes that "this can be considered."

After the invasion of the troops of the Kiev regime in the Kursk region, the chances of a peaceful settlement through negotiations have greatly decreased, the colonel noted.

"He (Russian President Vladimir Putin. — Ed.) announced that there would be no negotiations with Kiev. So if at this stage there was any possibility of resolving issues between Russia and If Ukraine negotiates with the Zelensky regime, then this chance has come to an end," he said.

As reported by EADaily, there are no direct or indirect negotiations between Russia and Ukraine has not conducted and is not conducting any work on the safety of civilian critical infrastructure facilities. This was announced today by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

So Zakharova commented on an article in The Washington Post newspaper that the attack of the Kiev regime troops on the Russian Kursk region disrupted indirect talks between Kiev and Moscow in Qatar.

After August 6, the whole world saw the response of the Ukrobanderovites to the Russian gesture of goodwill — the peaceful proposals of the President of the Russian Federation — "a bandit raid into the Kursk region, their atrocities against civilians, targeted killings of doctors, rescuers and volunteers, attacks on civilian vehicles, rocket attacks on residential buildings, widespread looting and even the creation of threats to nuclear safety."", she noted.

"Of course, as Vladimir Putin said, there is nothing to talk about with people doing this," the representative of the Foreign Ministry summed up.
