Ukrainian military have blocked food supply to civilians in villages of Gladosovo and Travnenovoe that were earlier seized in “grey zone” in Donbass. This makes the people’s life a living hell, forcing them out of their homes, Deputy Commander of the DPR Eduard Basurin said at a press briefing. Residents of the seized villages keep complaining to the republic’s security agencies about actions of the occupants.
The occupants have blocked the only road (adjacent Golmosvky community) for food and medicines supply to the villages and do not allow civilians to cross the engagement line.
“Even today, on Easter Day, residents of the seized villages were not let to the church in the territory of our republic,” Basurin said.
According to him, such actions of Ukrainian occupants pursue one goal – to force the remaining residents out of the villages to occupy their homes and turn them into fortifications in direction of Gorlovka village.
“We urge OSCE SMM in Ukraine to record the illegal actions of Ukraine and demand real steps from it to improve the humanitarian situation in the villages and protect the rights and health of our citizens residing there,” the Deputy Commander of the DPR said.
