Russia’s air operation in Syria may last for three-four months, Chairman of the State Duma’s Committee on International Affairs Alexey Pushkov told Europe 1.
He added that Russia was not going to carry out any land operations in Syria.
As EADaily reported earlier, on Sept 30 a Russian air force of over 50 planes and helicopters began carrying out surgical strikes at ISIL facilities in Syria. During the first day, the Russians struck 12 facilities.
