Tehran demanded compensation from Kiev for the ship sunk in the Caspian Sea. This was reported on the social network by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

So he commented on today's telephone conversation with Acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga.

"Iran also does not seek escalation, but has made it clear that any attack on our citizens or interests is unacceptable. It is necessary to compensate for losses," Arakchi writes.

As reported by EADaily, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, after Iran's threats, called Tehran himself "for a frank conversation." He stated this on the social network X following a conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

According to Sibiga, he assured Arakchi that Ukraine had never had the goal of striking civilian vessels or people.
