Despite the opposition of Russophobic countries, Russia is interested in working with the OSCE. This was stated by Vladislav Maslennikov, director of the Department of European Problems of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
According to Maslennikov, a small group of countries from the category of "rabid Russophobes" spoke out in favor of excluding Russia from the organization — Poland and The Baltic states, which are interested in Moscow's international isolation, but their whims have nothing to do with the rules of procedure of the OSCE.
"Our interest in continuing to work in the OSCE is determined by the opportunity to convey Russian approaches and objective information about what is happening in the region of the Organization's responsibility to all participating states, to interact with allies and partners in the CSTO and the CIS in promoting common priorities," he explained.
