British singer Bonnie Tyler, whose hoarse voice is known all over the world, regained consciousness after an artificial coma and emergency surgery in Portugal. This is reported by The Sun portal.

"Bonnie is no longer in a coma, but she is still seriously ill. Although her condition is improving, the recovery process is slow, " her representative told the publication.

Currently, the star is in a hospital in the Faro district in the south of the country in the intensive care unit. Doctors expect that she will be able to fully recover, but now her condition remains severe.

Recall that in May of this year, Tyler was admitted to the hospital in Faro with a serious infection that caused intestinal perforation. During the operation, the perforation was eliminated, but it was not possible to cope with the infection. The doctors decided to immerse the singer in a medically induced coma.
