Iran has put forward five US demands for the resumption of negotiations. They were outlined in his post on the social network X by Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharib-Abadi.

According to him, this is the permanent cessation of the war and the prevention of its recurrence, compensation for damages, lifting the blockade, lifting illegal sanctions and respect for Iran's rights.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has emphasized clear principles: permanent cessation of the war and prevention of its recurrence, compensation for damages, lifting the blockade, lifting illegal sanctions and respect for Iran's rights. These are not maximalist demands — this is the minimum necessary for any serious, sustainable and UN Charter—compliant settlement of the crisis, which was launched with the illegal use of force," writes Gharib-Abadi, quoted by ParsToday Russian.

The Deputy Minister stressed that true peace is not built on the language of humiliation, threats and forced concessions.

"When a party that is directly involved in the war, blockade, sanctions and threats of force rejects Iran's response only because it is not capitulation, it becomes clear that the main goal is not peace, but the imposition of political will through threats and pressure," he said.

According to the Fars news agency, citing a source, Tehran demands the end of the war on all fronts, especially in Lebanon, the lifting of anti-Iranian sanctions, the unblocking of frozen Iranian funds, compensation for damage caused by the war, and recognition of Iran's right to sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
