Singer Linda (Svetlana Gaiman) was detained in Moscow. This is reported by telegram channel 112.
At the same time, law enforcement officers are holding events at the office of Profit company, its owner, Andrei Cherkasov, concurrently the general director of the Jam music publishing house, has been in jail since the beginning of March in a case of major fraud.
"He tried to block the movie "Hands Up!" on streaming services. Searches are also taking place in his wife's firm — "The Top 7 Company," the publication says.
According to the telegram channel Shot, Linda was detained for questioning due to a conflict with producer Maxim Fadeev, with whom the singer has not worked since 1998.
"At the same time, Linda's father stopped financially supporting the project. Now the producer claims that the singer forged documents related to the copyright of the music. The dispute concerned Linda's hits such as "The Crow", "Songs of Tibetan Lamas" and others," the telegram channel claims.
As EADaily reported, earlier Linda, in an interview with journalist and blogger Ksenia Sobchak, said that she was offered a contract with another label without Fadeev's participation, which offended him. In addition, she stated that Fadeev spread rumors about her drug addiction for promotion. In order to keep control of the project, Fadeev allegedly simulated serious illnesses. Linda herself refused a lucrative international contract with BMG because of this. In addition, Linda said that Fadeev told her father that the singer was allegedly pursuing him.
After the final completion of work with Fadeev, as Linda stated, she faced an unspoken boycott. In her opinion, this is due to the influence of the former producer.
