The GUR gave the task: Zelensky threatened Russia with "long-range sanctions" on May 9

The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, gave the task to the GUR on the Russian air defense system by May 9. He stated this in his telegram channel after the report of the head of the GUR Oleg Ivashchenko.

So he commented on the information he received about the strengthening of the air defense ring around Moscow, allegedly at the expense of other regions. From this, he concluded that the Kremlin was not preparing for a cease-fire, and also threatened Russia with "long-range sanctions."

"Today I have assigned tasks to the Main Intelligence Directorate for the Russian air Defense system. We see that in recent weeks the air defense rings around Moscow have been further increasing due to the large-scale movement of air defenses from the Russian regions. This shows that the Russian leadership is not preparing for the ceasefire, about which so many statements have been made, and is more concerned about its parade in Moscow than the rest of Russia. At the same time, we note that this opens up additional opportunities for our "long-range sanctions." Our respective priorities will be determined," Zelensky writes.

As reported by EADaily, Kiev has not yet made a final decision on a truce on May 9. This was reported by the Russian Air Force Service, citing a source in the Ukrainian authorities.

This afternoon, the Kyiv Independent newspaper quoted an unnamed "high-ranking Ukrainian official" who said that Ukraine "simply does not see the point [of observing the truce] about the parade." However, the BBC interlocutor did not confirm this.

Recall, the Russian Defense Ministry announced a truce on May 8-9 in honor of Victory Day.

It was noted that the corresponding decision was made by President Vladimir Putin.
